Microwave-field quantum metrology robust to detection losses, in Nature Communications
With Rafał Demkowicz-Dobrzański we demonstrate microwave-field quantum metrology with inherent robustness against detection losses enabled by Rydberg interactions (Nature Communications 17, 9013).
Rydberg atoms both sense a 160 ns microwave pulse, with a single-shot precision of (217 ± 8) µV/cm, and process the information: dipolar interactions between them implement error prevention that protects the quantum advantage against detection losses.
