Nonclassical photon–phonon correlations, published in PRL

Together with the QUANTOP group at the Niels Bohr Institute we observed nonclassical correlations between photons and phonons of the centre-of-mass motion of a mechanical oscillator (Phys. Rev. Lett. 133, 173605).

The experiment reveals correlations between photons and phonons of the oscillator’s centre-of-mass motion that classical physics cannot explain.
