Rydberg atoms test automotive radar chips
Our Rydberg-atom-based system for benchmarking millimeter-wave automotive radar chips is published in Physical Review Applied 22, 034067.
We detect electric fields at 131 GHz, controlling the beam’s direction and polarisation with photonic wave plates, and test the field emitted by an on-chip automotive radar designed as a vital-sign detector.
